About Sidler Group

Connecting Expertise. Creating Opportunity.

Sidler Group is an international engineering, energy and investment platform built on three decades of experience across the oil & gas, energy and industrial sectors — connecting global expertise, technology and local market knowledge to deliver practical, sustainable value for clients and partners.

Our Story

Sidler’s roots trace back to 1994, with the founding of Sidler Ventures. In 1998, Sidler entered into a partnership with Dynamic Engineering SA, forming Sidler Dynamic Engineering Nigeria Limited — combining local market knowledge with international engineering expertise.

The company expanded internationally in 2003 with the registration of Sidler Dynamic Engineering (UK) Limited, followed in 2009 by the establishment of a US presence, initially as a foreign LLC in Georgia and since converted to a domestic entity, Sidler Dynamic Engineering LLC.

In 2017, the group expanded further with the formation of IOT Limited, Sidler Oil & Gas Limited and Sidler Energy Limited, broadening its capabilities across the energy value chain. Sidler also maintained a presence in the United Arab Emirates from 2011 to 2020, and is evaluating renewing that license and resuming operations there as conditions allow.

Our Experience

Sidler has served as a vendor to NLNG, Shell and Chevron, and has worked closely with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and its subsidiaries. Since 2003, Sidler has provided multi-disciplinary services — plant operations, maintenance, turnaround support and asset integrity — to Nigeria’s Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Warri refineries.

Our project portfolio spans engineering, automation, control systems and maintenance work for FPSOs, LNG trains, refineries and gas infrastructure — including the Bonga FPSO control and safety systems (SNEPCo, 2014–2016), the Sea Eagle ICSS upgrade (SPDC), NLNG’s Control and Safety System phased migration at Bonny Island (2014–2019), ERHA FPSO platform support (ExxonMobil), the KRPC OTS upgrade, and the Amenam ICSS upgrade (TotalEnergies).

Our Partnerships

Sidler is a local Nigerian partner to Schneider Electric, and is the official Nigerian representative for the legacy Invensys automation and process control portfolio — Avantis, Eurotherm, Foxboro, SimSci, Triconex and Wonderware — alongside alliances with Siemens, Honeywell and Advansys. Locally, Sidler partners with Gulf of Guinea Petroleum Consulting (GGPC), BQub and NETCO.

Sidler also works alongside specialist collaboration partners to extend scope where it strengthens client outcomes: CarewNETzero, an energy transition and net-zero strategy partner supporting GHG reduction and renewables integration work, and Energy Markets Global, a commercial and technical delivery partner on international feasibility studies and market-entry projects.

Sidler has recently formed consortia to pursue major initiatives in Nigeria, including an NLNG decarbonization project with endorsement from DNV, and a USTDA-sponsored LNG feasibility study.

Extended Team

Beyond direct leadership, Sidler draws on a network of specialists who bring additional technical and commercial depth to specific programmes.
